    There is not a single piece plugin or single Photoshop technique that is the golden solution to everything. It's very simple; learn as many different extraction techniques possible. Don't use third party plugins, they are just a waste of your money....sigh

    Check the resolution of your image, it's probably super high. Trust me, you are typing text, you just don't see it (zoom in for example)

    I never heard of Photoshop resetting settings, it's most likely that it can't update the settings file because you blocked it by accident while you were cluelessly playing with security....sigh

    See buddy, now that happens if you don't keep your computer uptodate! You don't have the lastest video card driver, get it and the issue will be solved.
