    Need power?

I really like the brushed aluminum look. I'm sure it's done with a gradient; but it's not a line or circular gradient...so how did you achieve that? thanks.

I believe it will work splendidly for a business card. :D

Need help neatening up a LOGO that I've created.

ASC, Happy to have helped. Glad to see how well your logo turned out for you. Once you imported the logo into photoshop, it became a raster image. Sizing it smaller will be no problem. However, up-sizing will not look as good. If you want to make it larger, start with your .ai...

Need help neatening up a LOGO that I've created.

ASC, Sorry, I misunderstood what you were trying to accomplish. Now I've got it. Ok...not the ideal solution; but this will work with what you have at the moment. Using the eliptical selection tool, select just the ovals in the following manner: 1) While holding down the [shift+control]...

    Underwater blue

It looks good. The way you show above / below the water line reminds me of a Wyland painting.

    Need power?

Pieter, I just took a look at your dribble site. You have some very nice work there. I like the other buttons you did as well. Did you do this desk in photoshop, too? It looks like a computer model. Well done.

Need help neatening up a LOGO that I've created.

ASC, If the screenshot you displayed in the previous post is accurate, then it looks like your "Layer 1" is already transparent. Click the eye next to the background layer to turn off that layer and you'll be able to see the transparency.

Need help neatening up a LOGO that I've created.

Sorry, ASC. I don't have Illustrator and have never used it, so sending me your file wouldn't benefit either of us. I was just trying to figure out how to rotate your ovals; which I've never done either. It was a learning experience for me this morning; so thanks for the inspiration.

Pieter, those graphics look very professional. Did you use illustrator, or were you able to accomplish that in photoshop?

Houston, I think we have a major problem here. (re: color management)

I'm always willing to learn if someone is willing to teach. :)

Need help neatening up a LOGO that I've created.

ASC, I see that you were able to work it out in illustrator before I finished typing up my photoshop tutorial. :) Good job.

Need help neatening up a LOGO that I've created.

ASC, I agree with Chrisx in that the best way to make your logo would be using Illustrator. First, the tools for rotating objects are better and secondly, your logo would then be a vector image and could be resized without loss of quality. However, I do want to demonstrate another method of...

    Need help with this image

Hey, Miguel. As others have stated, due to the picture being in portrait mode, it is difficult to fill a widescreen monitor without losing some details; so I thought I'd offer a few different possibilities.

The Unofficial - but Nevertheless Worthy - PSG Medal of Honor

It doesn't matter one whit what others think, or how you have interacted with them. Since I've been here over the past couple of weeks, you've been kind to ME and that's what I'm basing my opinion on.
