Disecting a Jpg image and reassembly

I think you have to have a certain number of posts in order for this site to allow you to upload. Post them to one of the many free image hosts on the web and then put a link to it here. You'll have to nix the http part though, because you cant post links yet either. Helps avoid spam.

    Removing Backround troubles

You could break out the pen tool (most likely what I would use) or have a look at this tutorial. The method he uses might be good for what you are trying to accomplish. Using Channels to make Difficult Selections and Selecting Hair with Photoshop CS3! :: Free Adobe Photoshop, Flash...

Copy/Paste from 1 image to another

First off: This is most likely due to the resolutions of the two images being different. The photo you are dealing with I would guess to be at 72 ppi. Your new A4 document is most likely 300 ppi. Try opening your original and going to Image>Image Size and taking note of the resolution. Then...

    For all you Gurus

"forklift license" ...... I'm not a guru but changing text is usually quite simple. However, I think I'll pass. Sounds illegal.

It might help if you would explain what you mean by "marble depression".

    Starburst help

I know nothing about the tutorial you are reffering to. However, I think what he means by "Ctrl-Click the starburst layer" is you need to have your mouse above the little "layer thumbnail" of the "starburst layer" when you "Ctrl-Click". This will make a selection using the "starburst layer".

New to CS4 move photo to CS4 or Bridge.

Just make sure your images are in a folder on your PC. They don't have to be "moved" into CS4 or Bridge. Atleast, not that I am aware of.

Simple step by step instructions for a newb!

Hundreds? Have a look at Easy Thumbnails - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com. I have never used this program, but have heard good things about it. While photoshop is great for most things, creating mass amounts of thumbnails is best left to another program unless you...

Creating a bell-shapped (Gaussian) curve with the Pen Tool

You know the old saying, "You learn something new everyday"? It applies to this thread. I am just really getting into "creating" with this program. Mostly I have done retouching of photos and the like. I will look into the pen tool further though. That, you can count on. Thanks!

Creating a bell-shapped (Gaussian) curve with the Pen Tool

I have used the pen tool quite a bit over the years and don't think I have ever used Ctrl or Alt. Here is how I would do it ... Place 3 horizontal guides equadistant apart. Along the middle one, using the Pen tool, place 4 points somewhat equadistant apart. In your tools menu, click and...

Possible put in 1 animation into another?

I know that it can be done. Not sure exactly how though. Gonna have to wait for someone else. I could do some research on it. But it isn't worth the effort.

Put in massive pictures into a picture?

Not sure about other versions, but in CS4 ...... Create your new document. Then go to File>Scripts>Load Files into Stack... Click on the Browse button. Select the files you want to add (If they are named in the order you want them to appear, click on the first one and then find the...

    Cutting People

According to a tutorial I saw on this subject, it greatly depends on the complexity of the image you are cutting your friend out of. Is he on a solid background? Just a few different things going on behind him? Or is it a madhouse behind him? While there are several methods for cutting an...

    Question regarding tablets

Question for pen and tablet users I am not all that new to Photoshop but I still consider myself a noob. My main experience with the program has been mostly enhancing digital photographs. And I have also done some graphics from scratch. Always I have used just a mouse to do whatever I needed to...
