    I mean you can apply different type of adjustment layers such as the black and white gradient adjustment, then reverse it and turn down the opacity. Not sure if I explained it right but yeah experiment around with the adjustment tools and I'm certain you'll be able to do the same.

    Hm very interesting but i think that all the effects you have applied are a little too much, nice to keep it more simple when it comes to colours and glows and stuff. Also it looks as if you used a blur or is that the quality? I like the concept of the 3Dness of the first image though, keep it up.

    All you have to do is trim it down to size and blur the edges tbh or burn them if you are trying to do what I think you're trying to do.

    Well slice up the main parts of the design like the content, header/banner, logo and menu bar. When you are done, go to file and then "save for web & devices" and then save it (make sure for format it says HTML & images).

    I think you should have cut around the Soldier using the pen tool. Howerver, if you want to still have a glow you can just use the glow effect in blending options.
