I ran both Win Cleanup Utility and then the Adobe cleanup utility, as soon as I finish the virus scan I will try and reinstall it - but it probably won't work, since I forgot to deactivate it last time I tried the reinstall AND this time.     Oh, crap. No, I didn't deactivate it. I'm pretty much screwed now, right? *sigh* I'm going to let my virus scan finish and then try and install it...I can't believe I forgot to deactivate it. I KNEW to do that but it totally slipped my mind. And yes, that is how I reset the preferences.

    Ok, the clean up script won't run. I downloaded the file, unzipped it to an appropriate location. I followed the detailed instructions included in the folder contents. Adobe Reader seems to be working now but won't allow me to print (not that that has anything to do with anything, *chuckle*)...

    Sorry about that, the uninstall took quite some time. At the very end of the uninstall, the program said "Some problems occured while components were being removed. Please see below." But the only thing below was the Exit button, so I clicked that. I am about to go run the clean script now...
