    Illustrator Help with stroke

How do I ungroup them?! I feel like I'm on the brink of a breakthrough!

    Illustrator Help with stroke

I tried to make a second stroke and make it the same width as the first stroke, then align the path to the outside, but as you can see, the align buttons are grayed out.

    Illustrator Help with stroke

It's not doing anything. I need to create a path on each side of the black line.

    Illustrator Help with stroke

I have looked everywhere trying to figure this out and I've gotten no further. I need to create a second path round the black outline of the lettering. Objects>Path>Outline Stroke doesn't work

    Illustrator Deleting paths

Actually, I'm going to transfer the completed image to GreatCut and cut it out on vinyl, but do you know if the bounding box will be cut as well? I guess that's the only thing I'm worried about. The "Ignore white" trick did exactly what I needed to do by getting rid of the white background in...

    Illustrator Deleting paths

Okay, in that case I want to get rid of the bounding box and keep the image in the center. (I don't know all the terminology.) I like the black and white image Illustrator produces better than what the Threshold in Photoshop produces, so I was hoping to keep using the black and white setting...

    Illustrator Deleting paths

Hey guys, I'm pretty new with Illustrator, and I'm trying to figure out how to delete a path, specifically the box surrounding the image. I'm not sure if this is the correct way to convert an image to a path, but I'm trying to convert a color image to black and white. I open the image, the go...

    Everything stays gray

Good question... how do I check?

    Everything stays gray

I'm trying to change the white on the zebra pattern to pink. When I select pink or any other color from the dialog box, it only changes to gray. I'm not having any issues with the flag image. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4X-CoRwtPDuREVhN0RwRngwZGs/edit?usp=sharing...

    Everything stays gray

When I try to replace a color in an image with another color, it keeps coming up as gray. I tried a different method by adding a new layer and painting it the color I wanted, but it came up gray too!

    Making a color transparent

Yes! So the only visible color there is white, correct?

    Making a color transparent

Well what you're seeing in the motorcycle is all actually "black", not the tee shirt. This is just a picture to show what it would look like on the shirt. I need to somehow select all the black within the motorcycle and remove it. I suppose I could paint it out with a layer mask and paint brush...

    Making a color transparent

Yes I made it, and yes they're each on their own layers. I still have the PSD file with all the elements separated. The motorcycle was originally colored, but I fidgeted with the threshold to get it like that.

    Making a color transparent

I need to make all the black in the image transparent because I'm only going to be using a white transfer paper. I'm assuming this is what I'll have to do anyway. Thanks! Chuck

    Lost my toolbar...

Hey guys, I'm pretty new with Photoshop but I'm catching on a lot faster than I thought I would. Somehow I've done something to make my alignment toolbar disappear and I'd really like it back. Any help would be appreciated. Also, is there a menu to add and remove toolbars? Thanks! Chuck
