    batch reduce resolution

    Clone, brush, burn-dodge tools don't work

    this is too simple, but i'll mention it anyway. try clicking the caps lock. if it's on you can't use those tools. hope this helps. boyd

    need sloppy border plugin.

    thank all of you. i really appreciate your help. i didn't want to buy plugins, so i went to some sites which have examples of polaroid edges. then i removed the color and saved them. i simply add one of them to a photo, click edit/clear and i have it. this may help someone else. again, thanks, boyd.

    i think i have the answer for you! this isn't always the problem, but i think you may have your caps lock on. the tools you mention won't work until you unlock the caps. try it. good luck, boyd.

    hi, gang. i used to have a plugin which left the photo with a sloppy, raggedy, wonderful border. i have a new comp and couldn't transfer it here. it looked like the edges were drawn with a dry brush. any help will be appreciated. thanks, boyd.

    hi all. i have created a business card for a client. i made it 3.5 in wide and 2 in high. i also added 1/8 in on all sides for bleed and cutting. i want to make a page containing 8 cards per page. i went to automate/picture package in p/s cs and found i can make a page, but not with the images...

    WHAT TO SAVE IT AS!!!

    Something I learned at my internship that goes for any software platform...if you are going to print, it MUST be in CMYK. The addition of the black gives greater contrast and crisper images. This may be a 'duh' to most of you, but it was news to me and maybe it will be helpful to someone else...
