    Thanks IamSam, I tried it, although it did not fix my problem. ibclare, I already had tried the merging of layers, that is where I lose the effects...prior to saving it. Thank you though, I also took your advise and purged all my preferences, still to no avail. Very aggravated with this...

    Maintaining layer effects when saving logo

    Did this issue get resolved? I am having the same issue. I have tried rasterizing, adding layer and merging those and saving in the required PDF format without merging text layers, linking the layers and trying all of the above. Always, I lose the outer glow and bevel.
