    Pleasure to help you, everybody has to start somewhere right? ;) There is another tool to check if your code is right called wc3 validator this tool checks your code for any mistakes, so that might be usefull as well. :)

    I guess you don't have the image in the same folder as the html document. You should make a folder called image in the same path as the html document. body { background-image:url(images/bgmc.jpg); background-size:100% auto; }

    border groove

    In this image there is used a background with RGB 38, 38, 38 (#262626) And the "groove effect" is indeed a 2 x 1 px image which is repeated 130 times. The color on the left is #090909 and the color on the right #424242 So you were right, it is that simple ;)
