    Thanks for looking at the file--I really appreciate it. I want so much to get this file to the customer with the changes that I made in a format she can open..its bummin' me out big time not being able to.

    Tried saving as a PNG and a TIFF--on her end the file showed a black splotchy area around the main subject as mentioned in my post above.

    Hi all! A customer sent me a jpg -- she wanted the background removed and then a drop shadow added behind the main object. I was able to accomplish this in Photoshop with no problem. However, when I tried to send the file back to her as a PSd file she was unable to open it in PaintShopPro 7...
