    I would first try the spot healing brush tool (j). You may need to turn off content aware, depending on the size of the area and how close it is to the text, but you can quickly touch up the problem areas with it, and then paint/clone stamp out any problem areas.

    Hi Tain, I'm not sure I understand your question. Are you looking to make that blue have more of a "glow" look to it? Right now it looks good and you did a great job on the shadows in that blue area, but it looks more opaque than like a light.... is that what you want to change?

    You can try playing with Dodge/Burn tools for those areas where light is an issue.... just do it on a duplicated layer while you experiment. Unsharp Mask may help with those detail areas... play with the settings.

    This is ok in the General Photoshop board, no need to move it. Albobo, feel free to post up a pic of what you are working on or showing the desired result you are trying to achieve and we can take a look and maybe give you more tips. I know there's some talented retoucher's here.

    Ok, are the colors the way you want them on the original pieces that you are scanning, or is the image you are starting with in Photoshop true to the scanned material and thus the originals are in need of color correction?
