    Re-sizing an image to fit certain size.

    Hi All, very new to photoshop and have a basic/daft question. Is there a way to resize an image to fit a certain size without distorting it so it loses sharpness, clarity etc... I found an image i'd like to use for a friends website on a stock images site the size being 1688px (w) by 1125px...
