OK - I played some more and found that by using a text-bounding box I could select the typed text and by zooming out to a 16% view I could see the tiny line of text way below the document bounding box window. RE: "...reset type tool?" I have played with the presets and the preferences, but did not find anything in Photoshop 7 about 'resetting' the type tool. How does one reset it? Or is this something just for CS3 Photoshop? still perplexed - Don- dondougan
