Hello again, Sorry. I didnt make myself very clear earlier. The "max compression" is actually max quality so no compression at all. The individual photos and the montage itself were saved at maximum quality and therefore huge file sizes. Your comment about saving computer memory agrees...- Clare99

Thank you for taking the time to reply. All the images have been scanned at 300dpi minimum. Some of the old b&w photos have been scanned at 600dpi. All individual images were saved at max compression. The montage image is indeed 60cm x 30cm as it is to printed across a double page spread...- Clare99

I am fairly new to P/shop and am a bit stuck. I am in the process of producing a photo book for my parents 60th wedding anniversary and I want to include a montage of approx 70 photos throughout their marriage. My image size will be 60cm by 30cm and the final jpeg will be inserted into the book...- Clare99
