    Print Out Sizing Issue

Thanks. 1)Would the low PPI have a greater effect the larger the print? Like I said when I print the image at home (8.5x11) the sizing is perfect and that is without margins as well. Would simply changing the PPI before sending the image fix this. 2) Would using the marquee tool to make a...

    Print Out Sizing Issue

I would also like to add that when I send them the file it is not for example a 8x10 file that they have to blow up to scale. I create the pattern and fill a new document to the size required, say, 36x24. All they have to do is open up the file and print it out. I wonder where the issue is.

    Print Out Sizing Issue

This is the dot pattern I made and sent. Each dot is .125 Inch. I first sent them JPEG file but, was told that perhaps the PDF file would be easier to print out so I made this one. I am not sure exactly how much smaller but, when I compare them side by side with the 8.5 x 11 print out I made...

    Print Out Sizing Issue

I have created a polka dot pattern (.125 inch) on Photoshop CS6. When I print it out at home it comes out perfectly. However, I need larger print outs so, I corresponded with Fed Ex print to make them for me. The issue is that the dots come out a bit smaller than .125 inch. What is the...

    Help Printing out Work

My name is Lucas. So, I got the scan lines to work but, since I use the image resize method the scan lines ended up being the same width as a resized row. I next tried the pixelate -> mosaic and that worked but, when trying to convert to index color it would not color a square a single solid...

    Help Printing out Work

That is awesome thanks. The only issue I am having is using the scan lines plug in. When I try to open it up on PS is states " Can not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document".

    Help Printing out Work

Yes, that would be great. All I need is for each square to be distinguishable for the kids to be able to work as groups independently without confusion of what color is next or how many of each color. The greater the separation of squares the better. So, far when I try to print it out the...

    Help Printing out Work

Thanks. I have been looking for it on google but, can not seem to find a good explanation. Here is an image of one of the pictures. It uses 7 colors and the farther you get the more in focus it seems. I think it will be cool for the kids to see when finished.

    Help Printing out Work

The problem is when I print it out there is no telling how many squares there are of each color, you have to guess. For instance using the second picture I can tell that the first row starts with 1 light gray, 2 blue, 7 gray but, this will surely cause confusion with young kids which is why I...

    Help Printing out Work

Very similar to that but, I believe even easier. The mosaic would look like the second image. Instead of each team working on a "layer" they would be working on a "section". Using the image you provided it would be cut into 4 sections: group 1 would work on the top left, group 2 top right, group...

    Help Printing out Work

I would also like to add that I did not create the image using the mosaic filter. I created it by resizing the image and then rendering it down to 5 colors using the index color mode.

    Help Printing out Work

I am using Photoshop CS6 and am familiar with it. The mosaic I created is a 8 bit image of a Super Mario screenshot. It is 800 total squares and only uses 5 colors. The sticky notes are square What I plan to do is put the students in small groups where they can as a team work on a section...

    Help Printing out Work

I am a school teacher and have a created a mosaic for my young students to recreate using stickie notes. Is there a way to print out the order of colors so that each group may work on their individual section?
