    sorry. what i meant is that to have space on top of the canvas. like when zooming out, you see the canvas with the graybackground. but once you zoom in, there are no graybackground on the canvas edges. for me it is very annoying when painting near the edge. referring to the image. thank you.

    How to create different selection to be used later?

    Hi, i wanted to select the objects of my painting, like a book, clothes and then paint it seperately, something like a mask. I see this on video a lot where the artist created the selection of the object by painting using some mask tool, then can select the different mask.
