    Photo Manipulation Photo cleanup-critique, suggestions

Well wow your skills are very much superior to mine. I'm not familiar enough with a lot of the tools you mentioned. One photo was scanned from an original print at 300 dpi. The one with the torn left hand corner was pulled off the internet but had a very high resolution of 600 dpi and I did use...

    Photo Manipulation Photo cleanup-critique, suggestions

I tried cleaning up these photos of my mom using cloning and "cleanup" - As you can see they are pretty messed up, they were taken in the sixties - any suggestions to make the edits even better?

Can someone explain the difference between Photoshop sizes?

I recently downloaded an image from a website to my downloads folder. Under "size" in my downloads folder it says 2.9 mb, but when I open the image in Photoshop the image size says it's 71.9 mb, 600 dpi. What is the discrepancy here?

Post Processing I'm having a problem printing with Cannon PRO.

That worked plus I upgraded all my printer drivers. Thank you, I am SO grateful. Now I can print my holiday cards.

Post Processing I'm having a problem printing with Cannon PRO.

Thanks. That's the one ting I didn't try - printing it as an RGB. The size of the photo is 4.20 x 4.00. I printed it on an 8 x 10 piece of plain paper to save the photo paper for successful prints.

Post Processing I'm having a problem printing with Cannon PRO.

Oh that's funny. I have had it for years, printed successfully before. This is driving me nuts. It's a bit late for Snapfish at this point, I might have to buy some cards, after spending a fortune on blank cards, photo corners, ink, etc.

Post Processing I'm having a problem printing with Cannon PRO.

I am trying to print a photo with a CMYK profile on my canon pixma photo printer. The photo in the preview is very much in color but it prints in grayscale, or what looks like grayscale. I tried cleaning and aligning the printer heads, checked the ink levels and that all seems ok so it must be...

    What do you think folks?

The consensus seems to be with. I'm going to print with the vignette.

    What do you think folks?

Thanks! I was afraid the effect was too obvious. I ca see where it bleeds into the background but if it's not obvious to others I'll print with the vignette.

    With or without the vignette?

How do I remove an unwanted head?

John, That is amazing. Thank you. Yes, that's the image I found on Facebook. I realized it was a poor quality image but it's a lovely image of my Buddhist teacher and I wanted to do it justice.

How do I remove an unwanted head?

I pulled this image off of an Facebook page, so yes, very much compressed. Thanks for the tip.

How do I remove an unwanted head?

My attempt so far. I cropped a good part of the bottom off, cloned and rotated the left shoulder and collar, decided to leve that right side on shadow, althought I might do something about that later.

How do I remove an unwanted head?

I'd love to remove the big grey blob that is a head on the right side that is blocking part of the face of the subject in the photo. What tool would you use for that?

Specific Need to clean up an image

I'm working on a logo and found an old stamp I really like, inked it, pressed to paper and then scanned the inked image into Photoshop. The image is very fuzzy. I'd like to sharpen it up some how but don't really know if it's possible in Photoshop (the sharpen tool did not work).
