    Help with removing something, please!

I agree with gedstar, the picture with removed hair ( although IamSam made great work ) looks worse.

    The Paint Bucket Tool

Tom Mann - of course, this conversation does not pay our bills, I have to go to the office too. Although it is very interesting, it is not urgent. Best regards, Peter

    The Paint Bucket Tool

My screen, I have used picture from here, you can see the version and Paint Bucket setup too. I am wondering whether setup of something else ( like Select Color Range for example ) could change this setting.

    The Paint Bucket Tool

Tom Mann - thanks Tom. I did not know it has to be set. My bucket tool ( PS CC 2015 ) stops on color border and I do not remember changing it, I even think older versions did for me too.

How do you keep good contrast between pictures in a coposite?

I totally agree, I think the shades on his hand are the best proof of additional lightning during the shot.

    Which machine is better?

Hello, I think CPU is important too, especially for computing speed, but there is no information, whether those are dual cores or quad cores.

    The Paint Bucket Tool

I think it will pour only until a color change, not over entire layer. But my guess would be you still have a selection.

But what is that strange wedge on the top of his right sole ?

Remove sky but leave out-of-focus powerlines

I am sorry for a dumb question, but what are you exactly trying to achieve ? You write "remove the sky", does it mean you want to remove the sky and let the wires in the picture ? In that case I would try "blend if" since the wires are darker than the sky. If you want something else please...

Layer with a Mask bleeding through to it's base image

Additionally to the suggestions above, is your opacity 100% ?

    3D 3D Owl

Very nice, only a bit metallic, but I am sure that will change with texture.

Variable Troubles - Relative Path not importing

Paul MR - very elegant to write the substitution directly in Photoshop

Variable Troubles - Relative Path not importing

OK, I see. I would definitely create some trivial C program, just to filter the wrong characters. Like get c; while not EOF do; if c == 160 put 32; if c == XX1put XX2; else put c; get c; done. I cannot do it for you since I do not have C compiler for windows, I do all such stuff on Solaris...

    Help with a manipulation

One more thing to the original topic. I am afraid there is a huge difference of the focal length in photos of particular persons. That makes it, in my opinion, almost impossible to blend them into one realistic picture.

    Help with a manipulation

@IamSam - a little misunderstanding. I absolutely agree with all your technical advice, I even see your reason why to flip it. The only thing I am afraid is, if you flip somebody's face, whether or not it is still the same person ( OP wants to have his four most liked musicians ), since we do...

Variable Troubles - Relative Path not importing

Does your excel have auto correction on ? I would try t writ a program ( I would in C but I guess whatever works ) to read the file and output ASII codes of characters, the space may be from upper half of ASCII table. Edit : Do you have to use excel ? I think it would be much easier in notepad...
