    Problem when exporting an artboard

Hi @H_GG I downloaded the two files and on each, without touching anything, I did a File > Export > Artboards to Files And both were completed. Therefore, I am unable to replicate your issue. I am using PS 2025 26.4.0 release. John Wheeler

    Rotating gradient with CS6

Here is another approach yet also a bit fiddly and its using a Gradient Overlay Layer Style Start with your object in which you want a gradient surrounded by transparent pixels. Add a pure white layer above it and make it a clipping mask: Turn on Layer Styles, chose Gradient Overlay and set...

how to change the size of icons on toolbar

Hi @ciaociao It is my understanding that CS6 cannot scale icons other than by changing the screen resolution. For Photoshop 2020 and higher, there is an option in the settings to scale the UI (see image below). However, I have had no luck getting it to work on my Mac, despite it being supposed...

Merge layers/content aware fill based on another layer

Hi @mr.kenken Sure, I can show about the same steps. I typically delete the files after posting to save disk space yet I will start with the image I already posted part way through. Do note that Generative Fill gives highly variable results and sometimes you have to give it multiple gos to...

Merge layers/content aware fill based on another layer

Here is my approach that I used which included gernative fille. First, since the original without the red circle was not provided. I first selected around the red selection and did a generative fill. I had to do a little healing on the right side of the drum to make it look as it should...

Specific Clean or sharpen this image up!

Here is my try at upsizing that tiny image. Just keep in mind, today's software does its best, yet it is creating detail that may be somewhat different than actually the way it was, yet this will be larger and much clearer. John Wheeler

    Scratch discs are my enemy!

Hi @RonaldWarne The more information you share about your system configuration and status of your disks (e.g. how full) etc, the more likely a forum member will be able to help you. Not much shared so far so you will only get broad suggestions instead of targeted suggestions. So here are my...

Specific Clean or sharpen this image up!

Hi @JRLowey I am sure forum members will jump in and improve the image for you. Yet any efforts at improvement are best when the best resolution image is provided as a starting point. If this was scanned from a picture, scanning at 300 dpi vs. the current 72 ppi would be a significant help...

    Help cropping/trimming images

Hi @johnr283 There are probably a lot of ways to do this yet here is one. Take this image here where I want to trim 13 pixels from the right and 22 pixels from the bottom: Select the whole image. Use the command Select > Transform Selection Set the toolbar options as shown below. Note that...

    Layout Issue

I have seen this before. The tools panel is undocked. Any undocked panel will float over the image. You can dock it manually by dragging it up to that corner or reset your workspace. If you need more specifics, just ask John Wheeler

    Actions adjusting "save as" action

Hi @H_GG In the Action Panel with your Action expanded, go to the step that is the Save As and to the left of that command there should be a blank box. Click on that blank box and that enables have the full dialog box pop up to change as you see fit. Hope that helps John Wheeler

    Wide format printing

Hi @Styloid This is what is called a color management issue. This link is old yet I believe is still valid. The color management path that one is taking with the Postscript is different than what the person using Photoshop is doing. The attached article talks about how to set it up for good...
