    How to achieve this effect?

    Hi, I am new to photoshop and this forum. I am trying to learn how to achieve the effects in the attached photos. I am not sure what it is called so any help towards how I can learn how to alter the original photo to get the look from the finished picture, will be greatly appreciated...
