    Why can't the crop tool do this?

    The crop tool in photoshop requires you to enter a specific width and height into the boxes. You then drag your selection and photoshop crops and resamples. I wish I could choose to have no resampling done. Why the heck can't I enter a ratio as a crop size instead of specific pixel...

    Copy from here...paste over there??

    So when you copy and then paste a selection, photoshop almost always pastes way far away from where I copied. Why does it do that and how can I make it stop? I commonly need to be able to copy something and then paste in the exact same spot.
