    Odd pattern in scanned photo

    My wife gave me an old photo to scan and repair, and it has an odd pattern in it due to the textured photo paper it was originally printed on. I'm pretty handy with Photoshop, but this one has me stumped. Does anybody have a clue as to how to remove this pattern? Any advice would be greatly...

    Making fun of co-workers

    A guy at work started a friendly rivalry by pasting some of our faces into a funny photo. He forgot to shut down his computer when he left today, so here's what he's going to find as his wallpaper when he comes in tomorrow morning. He's the guy on the left.

    Retouching an old photo - before and after

    I'm still working on this one (it's a ~3000 x ~4000 scan and I'm going pixel by pixel), but here it is so far. I got most of the major flaws repaired, and I just keep making more passes, getting whatever is most noticeable at the time. In a few years it should be perfect.

    Hey

    I just joined the forum. I've been using Corel PhotoPaint for ages, and just made the move to PhotoShop, so I'm here looking for tips, tutorials, and general info to get myself up and running. I mostly use it for editing/retouching personal photos... I'm not a professional graphics person.
