    How to achieve this lighting effect?

    What is the best way to achieve the lighting on this image? I'm specifically looking at the edge lighting on her face, neck and jaw-line. Is there an easy method I'm not thinking of to make it look as natural as possible? I've tried just using a paint brush but I can't get it to look natural...
