    Best way to remove these artifacts?

    Been working on a somewhat older photograph and ran into these 'jpg like artifacts' (the small horizontal & vertical lines) I used Gaussian blur 0,3 but as I hate blurring I hope that someone has a good tip for this..

    Indeed, I also past the 'test' and am now a restaurer at OPR. Just wanted to share my second project I finished yesterday; BEFORE: AFTER: This one was done is exactly 3.5 hours in a straight run. I was home late and started at midnight, finished at 03:30 hours.

    How to restore dirty building?

    I have a question about this image; As you can see the sandstone building is old and dirty. What is the best way to clean up this building? I did several attempts, but all of them gave me a unnatural or blurry building..
