    Transparent background image for print

    Thank you so much! I will give this a try. As I explained, there is a lot of info out there for web transparency but not a lot to do with saving transparency for use in print. And, yes, I do want to use the images in page layout programs. Many, many thanks, Raelene 8))

    Transparent background image for print

    I have read a lot of tutorials for creating transparent backgrounds for use on web pages but haven't been able to find any info on making backgrounds transparent for printing. Can anyone give me some pointers. Saving as a GIF always seems to give me very blocky edges. [stuned]
