    looking at the image name I'm assuming the cropping was intentional. I just don't know why Windows explorer was seeing something more than what I could see. Which was my whole question.     I already thought of this and this was really weird I tried to resolve the issue by changing the extension to a .png and the thumbnail changed to the "cropped" view as i would see if i opened it BUT When I changed it BACK to .jpg, I git the full picture as the thumbnail again. Weird, eh?

    Exactly. this is what I'm trying to do, I can get my hands on Lightroom and photo mechanic *cough* but idk if they will have that ability to reverse the image, and if so, how.

    wait yes this is the Full picture. But as you can see, there is more to it that windows sees ijn the thumbnail, but when i open it in any program, it is cropped like you see above

    no this is the "cropped" version. its all i can see, although the full version is viewable in the thumbnail only. so I am trying to "extract" the full version I will attach a screen cap to explain what i see.

    I have a .jpg that was cropped. when I look at the thumbnail in Explorer(the preview of the picture before you click on it to open it up) still shows the full Image. Now I didnt know who else to post about very technical .jpg issuesd but the very people who use photoshop. So my question is...
