    Xara and PS

As I read this thread, I think I'm learning a bunch but this mug looks like a drawing because the shadow on the handle shows the handle not to be perpendicular to the cylinder of the mug but bent toward the viewer. I am not an illustrator. I am trying to figure out why I can not grasp the WHY...

    what happened?????

Is this another corruption of the Pref's? I don't know where they are kept in 7 but surely you will find them with a directory cmd. Not to be offensive {Win: Start >Run >CMD > dir C:\*.pal /s } I'll bet something like this works for Mac as well. Good Luck ]

    Interesting question, maybe.

I've also noted that those file sizes in the bottom of the PS screen are kind of like Enron's books, inflated. I often start with a 10 meg raw file and open to 25 or so in PSD then by the time I've worked the image a while the funny number at the bottom of the screen will say 1.5 or more GIG...

    Squaring up a rectangle

I need help to figure out how to correct a rectangle in a shot. I have shot a sign that I couldn't quite center. I ended up with the two sides and the bottom vertical and horizontal as i want but; the top is curved in toward the center enough to be visible. The rectangle is a record board...

    chOps

They don't build them like they used too and all I can say is Thank God. Thanks stoker, I read enough of Kai's stuff to want to call Alvie Ray Smith and ask him why he invented the alpha channel. I thought PS Cs is hard, WOW.

    Multi Screen Profiling

Last night I printed for the first time in a bit and noticed a good magenta/red cast. I've never had this before so this morning, I went looking. I found that some dummy [me] had made my second screen the primary and unfortunately the one that the profile from my spider applied to. I think...

Would you pay a small price to learn?

Mark, I would buy the info from you and really don't have much a preference for format-they all work. I also visit Digital Outback Photography {outbackphoto.com }ran by a Uwe Stein. He makes and sells what he call e-books that I have found quite helpful on specific subjects that I need...

Would you pay a small price to learn?

I have only in the last few months found this site and gotten a lot of pleasure from/of it. I've looked in many places, at a bunch of peoples writings on how to do most any thing, To often I've paid 30+ for an eBook and then paid another $25-$30 to print a copy [mainly because I really hate...
