Questions about replacing colors and stuff

I don't know if you can appreciate it, but between the "Save as" method and the "Save for web" method, for the same quality, there's a noticeable loss of quality I don't want to have. The "black" dots look "way more" softer. Both have the same quality, both are JPEG. This is my final result...

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

OK, thanks! There a lot of options right there. What should I choose to export the Photoshop CS6 project to a JPEG picture with the minimal loss of quality? I know I can change the quality. Right. But I'm really meaning this question: How should I set all the other options? Progressive...

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

OK, this is what I always do: By doing that, am I able to export it right?

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

I don't "need to" actually, but that should not be happening. So something must be wrong with the photo. May be something about what we were talking about? The # symbol? Wrong palette colors? Wrong tag/info about colors? I've opened many pictures of mine, including other symphonies, and that...

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

Yeah, you were right, that brush definitely did it! And also you were right about the black dots, they are not black at all. What do you think about the final work? Here's a stronger color so you can compare it to an equal photo: Oh, wow, the preview right there of my orange BG...

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

Yeah, first I tried the #48 method of making a starry sky. But I only could get a black BG with orange dots. As I don't know how to make the BG orange and the orange dots black, I'm gonna do it using you're method.

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

Yeah, when I said "transparent layer with only black dots" I meant what you said, all those grey, dark grey and black dots. I was trying the method of "making starts in the sky". But as I don't know how to interchange the black and orange, and I'm also getting a darker orange, I'm gonna do what...

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

I think I've more or less learned to match the background, but in reverse. I've achieved a black background with orange dots like the image shows. I need exactly the opposite, xD, but I don't know how to do it. I've been moving the white and black arrows in the "Level" layer, but what I was...

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

All right, I just found what I was looking for, Sam! In the Main Layer, all the edges of the man in the photo were reflecting softly the original yellow-grey background, and it was kind of annoying for me. But I just solved it! What I did is when we had the "Main layer copy" layer, I...

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

Yeap, that's what I'm looking for. How can I accomplish that? Thanks!

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

Yes please. I've been thinking that "Add noise" may be is not the best effect to use here, cause I've noticed that it does not simply add dots, but also darkens the orange.

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

Thank you. The main problem I have with the orange background is: 1. Dots should be a little bit bigger. 2. Dots should be black, or almost black, not orange as I did it. 3. There shouldn't be that much dots. I'm working on it, let's see how I do it. I'm gonna change the Main layer copy too...

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

Wow, that's incredible. You should definitely create some Guiness record like "I can see a font and tell you which one it is" And that has sense, of course, you worked on that before and you knew all that info. While I was watching the video, I was like "Wow, this guy can't be that good...

Holy cow, did I did this? :naughty: You are awesome, lol. This is so perfect, man, I love you! Nevertheless, I'd like to improve the BG a little bit.

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

Thanks, that's what I was looking for! I'm finishing it, it's getting better and better! PD: An advise (lol, I dare to give you an advise, kill me please :bustagut:). When placing and fitting the letters using "Free Transform", if you zoom in enough to see actual pixels, you'll have more...

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

I'm making the letters. One quick question: How do you know which font it was? And how do you know all the values you put fit the original letter? And... is there a way to know exactly what font is being used in a picture? Something like a "Font analyzer tool"? Thanks!

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

I think that this is what's happening. But again, I don't see why Photoshop can't just replace a color you select by another color you select, setting the fuzziness and stuff. It has sense that light colors get replaced by light colors, but if a user don't want to preserve these lights and...

Wow, I can't do anything but smiling watching you doing all those tricks and stuff. It's superb. You look like a magician to me! When I'm done, I'll post the result here. Thank you for making this possible to me! PD: I must be doing something wrong, MrToM. I'll post a more detailed step by...

Questions about replacing colors and stuff

OK, MrTom, I followed your steps, but the # icon did not disappeared. So I saved the picture in PNG, then opened it, and then the # was not there. But still, I did the exact same steps and the orange I got was just a little bit stronger than the one I was getting, but still way too far from the...
