    Conversion background?

    I have a PSD file with a checkered background (blank) with text. But when I import it to Premiere Pro, the background is black. Is the problem with Photoshop?

    I've typed a name and address in Horizontal. Rotated it 90 degrees. After that I can change the names and addresses. MrTom, I've done as suggested and it works. HOWEVER I don't think that's what I originally did. In any event, life goes on horizontally and vertically.

    Here is a screen shot of the type tool going vertical but the line just gets bigger the more I type characters.
