    ooooo, btw, if u use liquify on the layer with the effect, elongating the 'flares' works nicely i just discovered. less blurr and more 'gust' and f-5's seem to give you longer 'bursts' which u can elongate....nice help. :D

    oooo, i like that, gotta work on the size of the burst, looks like thats related to the amoint of wind filter applied, i assume (cause i did, heh) that i need to use the magic wand and select the white 'underlayer' and use the eraser tool, clear it out, so u can see thru it, bit only takes out...

    i have seen this effect before, and cannot find anything that explains it...but it is to take a square image, and make the shape into a starburst, (what i would call it) without distorting the image, transparent or color of my choice background. any ideas? [confused]
