    Blending multiple focal lengths

some parts of the video tutorial it seems that he tries to apply a DOF effect, but this can be done with filter> lens blur > alpa channel (mask layer) on 1 or more layers. instead of using multiple source files.

'I never use illegal software' since when is 'I' a 'she'? above all, i was just joking about myself and how I would 'never use illegal software' because she said 'if you are not eligable for a free license for 3D studio max '. I guess not me but you all are jumping to conclusions. thanks for...

made a pizza with sand, rubber, cement and plastic textures so ENJOY

and a close up how i did it: downloaded several textures and used a layer mask on several layers, containing the texture-instances with a layer-effect on it with the use of a self made brush to create the sand/cheesy effect on top. ofcourse i've used the bevel/embose effect to create depth...

If this is the given image which method u use to cut the background ?

fast and easy for low res ads but not ideal for when the subject has loos hair and fibers par example just try to isolate a tree with foillage/leaves from a blue background using just 'color select' and the quick selection tool with refine edge - probably awefull. refined edges doesn't take...

If this is the given image which method u use to cut the background ?

good method. but have you used "O" burn/dodge tool? much easier to work with than with a standard brush tool. with this tool you can isolate haires even with ease. set parameters relatively (burn(midtones) and set tolerance/sensitivity to 0-20 and softness of the brush to 80-90% burn tool...

there is a software bundle called 'seperation studio' specially for making multicolour t-shirt imagery. there are some specifics you need to take in consideration before uploading the file to this program such as highlights and tonal gradations.

How can i remove the spots from this image?

I am impressed because half of it didn't require any mouse movement, lol

How can I make this more "natural"?

using the gradient tool (radial / black / white) on the layer mask of this woody object and then apply filter 'lens blur' with alpha layer selected. it will generate a 'bokeh effect/depth of field' also there is no cast of shadow on the foreground.

use selection> color range to selection the grass and tree (Green) and copy it to a new layer. after a while you learn that a pen tool may not be the fastest and easiest way to proper select an subject.

How do I go about creating an image of this same style?

that's the downside of the use of FILTERS but perhaps in combination with a specific selection (path) and apply filter (parameters) per selection (path)

Help with a yellow removal from a black and white photo

my version? I am @work with no adobe installed, sorry but in my minds eye the result is the same as example below from IAMSAM. when you use RGB mode and change color in any way, you change every pixel. there are good examples on youtube where you can see how to change hair color without...
