    Background colour change

    I don't know if this is still relevant but i think adding a new adjustment layer with exposure and adjusting it till you are satisfied with how the background looks then just grab a brush with black color and select the mask wich is the white box near the layer and paint out the girl. I think...

    I think the pen tool can be big help in this case.Just set it to shape and create some round letters, i think there are a lot of tutorials that can show you how to use it.

    Cool.I think that turned out better than the guitar girl.I think that you did good job on blending the lion into the background. I feel like the human and the dragon need to be blended more.Try playing more with lighning and blurs. Cheers!

    Also don't try to blend everything just with one color.Shadows are another thing that make stuff blend well also blurs.Keep trying stuff and look from real images or some good Photomanipulations,atleast thats what helped me get better and its still helping me. I Think the concept is good.

    I think you can tone down the exposure a bit, and the purple is too much.I think i would either change the color or desaturate it a little.And most of what Argos said. Overall i think you are doing great!
