Best image resizing plugins? Pros and cons.

Not much activity here. In case anyone else stumbles across this thread and is interested in an answer, the best I found was on The Plugin Site: http://thepluginsite.com/knowhow/enlargingplugins/index.htm It's out of date and pretty subjective but it does give a round up of Photoshop...

Best image resizing plugins? Pros and cons.

Thanks Tom. So would you recommend getting a bunch of different plugins and trying them on different images until you get a feel for which one will work best? Would it be too much to ask what your "couple more" plugins are? Perhaps I was too limiting in asking for a favorite. Would it be...

Best image resizing plugins? Pros and cons.

I'll try kicking this off myself. Photoshop built-in (Image Size - Preserve Details) appears to be doing a bicubic resize followed by a smart sharpen I haven't tested this comprehensively but it doesn't appear to preserve edge detail from the image. PhotoZoom Pro can 'hallucinate' detail...

Is there a Photoshop plugin with additional transform resampling filters?

Thank Tom. I am after tools to give improved resampling options for general transforms (rotate, skew, etc.). I notice that you can combine multiple transforms by using a smart object so that each transform adjustment just updates the initial transform which is great for avoiding gradual image...

Is there a Photoshop plugin with additional transform resampling filters?

Thanks for your speedy responses on this. Sorry for my own delay - I haven't been able to get back to a computer for a while. I'll reply to your posts above to clarify.

Is there a Photoshop plugin with additional transform resampling filters?

I'm from a VFX background (working with compositors) and I'm fairly new to Photoshop. I notice when performing transforms that there are only a few resampling options available (Nearest Neighbor, Bilinear and some Bicubic variants). Is there a plugin available to provide additional filters...
