    Can the "Description" metadata fields be deleted with a Photoshop Script?

    Adobe's XMP/EXIF implementation doesn't work with all metadata fields. Its FAR easier to use EXIFTool for this. I have written a numberŕof utility scripts but finally had to write an integration for Bridge/Photoshop and EXIFTool to actually deal with metadata the way I needed.

    PSD file size

    Be aware that many apps (even Adobe's own Lightroom Classic) cannot open PSD files which are saved this way.

    I do not recommend using any OS below Mojave online, as Apple is no longer providing security fixes and there are exploits in the wild that could affect your computer. And at $10/month, Creative Cloud is actually a pretty good deal.
