    how to split image in half???

    by the way, i think there's another nice way of doing it (working on some part of the image), and i think it'll work only on cs4 and not older versions. use the crop tool to crop the image and work on the part you wanna work. after you're done, go to the menu (i think view or edit or something...

    How to turn a black object into white on an image?

    it's a little problem, but of course it is possible. everything's possible with photoshop. have you tried to paint with white on a new layer and play with the blending modes? maybe "color" blending mode.. try thinking this way and not just with the regular hue/saturation, cause the simple tools...

    tutorials are one of the fastest ways to get better in photoshop. I did TONS of tutorials at the beginning to get to know the program and all the different tools & workspace. Try video tutorials. Their even better..
