    Hi Thanks for your help. I have tried contracting the selection but that made no difference. I will try the the smudge tool but there are a lot of complicated edges.

    Hi All, Everytime I select an object using Object Selection or any other method and create a new file, I get a remnant border around it. I have looked at the tutorial for removing them by creating a mask and using the burn tool but it doesn't seem to work. Any ideas???
