    Ok I will try and explain again. I open the picture I want to resize for the web. I change my pixels to the size I require and click on `Apply'. Next I select the format i.e. JPG. GIF, etc. Then I click on `Save'. Previous to this problem my picture would stay on the screen for me to continue...

    Yes I am doing all of the steps you show. I have checked that I am not saving in another folder or anything similar to that. Previously when I have used `save to the web' the pictures have reduced in size on my screen immediately when I click save and I can then work on them - I don't have to go...
