    changing background of image

    looks easy on video tutorials eh? the only prob i have is , i've lasso'd the subject and deleted the background , now when it comes to getting the image i want to be the background , it just opens that image and loses my cut out original ( 1st ) image , forgive me if i sound dim , but i am new...
