    Problem with next image..

So many ways do do the same thing in PS...gotta love it! I choose elliptical lasso, held Shift/alt to constrain it to a circle and to grow from the cursors start point(center of the circle in the logo), came out a bit off center so I tweak moved it with the arrow keys, was a bit large so I...

    Reusing a selection

I'm thinking you can create a new layer for the house, drop down & activate the the window layer, ctrl click the thumbnail and that brings up your original selection for the window, back to & activate the house layer and the window selection will still be there.

    Resolution

72 is fine for screen presentations. 300-360 is best for printing documents. A lot to know about "Image" "image size" re-sampling, constraining aspects etc. Seek out online tuts they will explain it much better than I can. Wait I found one for ya... YouTube - ‪Learn Photoshop - How to Fully...

    Scary Sheep

Here is your sheep extracted in the very basic way, I would suggest you use a levels adjustment to increase the contrast of the edge before extracting, I didn't in this EX. You will get rid of the unwanted background artifacts with greater contrast in the mix. Upward & onward:) Or clean it up...

    Scary Sheep

Bumping this 'cause I think I found a good solution to define and select those myriad strands of hair in any document. It is the EXTRACT Filter, dc'd since CS4 but you can add it to your filters if you have prior PS releases. It brings up a whole new interface of your document and basically...

    Pics From 1975

WAY OUT Mooks... oh wait, that was the 60s... FAR OUT Mooks You did a good job considering what the source gave you to work with. iDad had a good idea for you imo.(he would be the one to tell you to get a haircut being dad and all:)) I would work with the photog's blurred finger and create a...

    What is the best Antivirus?

I would recommend AVG. Nice package and friendly and efficient. Symantec products always reminded me of an overpaid, over-rated, officious, snoopy & pushy IT nerd reeking of cheap cologne that always bothers you at the wrong time. Hate it. Heard good things about Kapersky, rates up there for...

3D what 3D program is the best for me ?

"Blender" an open source freebie that is the greatest intro into 3d modeling imo, clues you in on most of the jargon and technique used in 3d. 3d modeling is a humongous undertaking. I have recently added 3ds max 2011 from Autodesk (used for effects in the movie 2012) to my arsenal and let me...

    need some help

Looks pretty good. Hope you don't mind having your work scrutinized so closely. The head of the girl on the left still catches my eye as being a bit large. Way back before digital art, when I was in art school we were being taught that an idealized adult body proportion was eight heads...

    Scary Sheep

I really like your text effects against your chosen background Vafann. Very nice for your first foray imo. If you have the orig. pix you could clone back at a very low opacity the edge you speak of. In your future efforts, The tools to become proficient with are adjustment layers and layer...

    need some help

As I understand you, you have your work cut out for you to get even a passable result. Simply stated: you would use the photo from "funnybackgrounds" as the base, you then need to open each photo, select the head(many ways to do this) copy your selection, then paste into the final in it's own...

Oh No! No pixels were selected...again!
