    Yes, that's the idea. The filters in the ad you posted are used with Black and White film to achieve particular effects. I want to know what the PS channel mixer settings are that correspond with the various filters that black & white photogs use. These can then be applied on colour PS files...

    Thanks for the response. The pic I posted was converted "from" colour into Black & White. I posted it as an example of what you can do using the channel mixer. What I'm actually looking for are channel mixer settings which replicate the various filters used in Black and White film...

    Thanks Wendy. I have in fact visited this site before and there's lots of good info. I'm not sure that he's entirely accurate in saying that the green channel is equivalent to a Wratten#11 ... maybe it is, maybe it's just close. He also mentions a Wratten #8 Yellow but doesn't give the RGB...
