    Hi Thanks for the reply, i have found it in Window/application frame, the mac opens as a default with no background, now happily it opens as i like it. Im sure there will be more things i will be asking, but will also help out others as and when my knowledge can help. Cheers Nick

    Hi Im new to this forum but have been using Photoshop for years The problem i am having is, when i open Photoshop CS5 on my new Mac book pro it opens without any background. so i get the header and the toolbars all appearing but the main page area i can see the application that is open behind...
