    Diffuse Glow filter problem.

Welcome to the Forum Garry S...! :D I?ll just add something here: This filter is quite handy when used in inverse colors [ctrl+I] to add more contrast, and in normal mode [like shown above] to reduce surface imperfections and smooth the image. [try fading it at different modes by pressing...

Computer storage just about to go off the charts!

IBM has invented a storage method that uses nanotec some time ago [I don?t know if you're talking about this one], and will not take so long to release it... I read about it in the newspaper more than one time, first presenting it as a research, and then as "pre-release", upcoming product...

    paper blending

You can make a mask for the piece of paper, and use selective color to add black to the white, this will probably bring the image information you want there .[also you could use the burn tool] If you want, invert the image [ctrl+i] to see if you have any color information at all at that...

    New Pruning guidelines...

 I think that you should create a "precious threads" section to keep the best ones for a little more time, but only the real valuable ones, the ones that you know that sooner or later will return again... I agree with you, this problem didn?t affect only 56k users, I have a broadband...

    Smoothing Rough Edges

Another to get smooth edges would be to turn your selection into an alpha channel, gaussian blur it a little, and then adjust the levels to "sharpen" it again.... After that you load the alpha channel and bingo, you have a smoooth selection.... =D
