    New guy!

    Hey all, I'm new here. Just figured I'd jump in and say hi. I'm actually a Gimp user, converted from Photoshop years back - but a lot of the methods are so similar I figured I'd join in a PS forum and see what I can learn, or what I can teach.

    Any ideas on how to get the effect shown in this picture? Like TV faded colors

    isn't there a filter that creates lines? I haven't used PS in a while (gimp user) but I am pretty sure that there is a tool that will erase every other row of an image. try duplicating the layer, find that effect, use it, and then set the layer mode to overlay.

    I like how gritty the image looks. The brushes you used give it a pretty cool effect.
