    ....And to pile on to all of my morning replies -- that's exactly what I needed! Sorry, I know that's elementary--but I did not know about this option. I have taught myself some rough image editing, but nothing "formal" so there are so many functions I do not know about. Thank you so much!

    Sorry, correction: the overall size is 30" by 17.75...I know it doesn't change what I'm trying to figure out -- but thought I should add that I was incorrect in that measurement. :)

    I am making an image that will be 30" wide and 17.5" tall, but within that rectangle I'll have another set of dimensions that I need to be a blacked out layer (when I print it this center part will be removed). I'm nervous to move this around manually because if I'm off by a little bit it will...
