    First attempt... Removed the scratches from the face, blurred some parts and added some color. I hope you don't mind, but I cropped of the lower right side. I'll see what I can do for the background, but I'm not sure I can help you with that.

    Skin Smoothing

    Those are some great tutorials! I normally used the gausian blur on part of the face, or the regular blur, but I think it looked kind of unnatural... I haven't done this kind of editing in a while, but it seems very useful!
