i know a lot about layers but next to nothing about masks. i've been using photoshop for almost 3 years now; i can do a lot of things, whether or not any of them are impressive i don't know.- msirae

i've been looking forever to try to find out how to do this effect but i've had no luck so far. :c basically, i'm wondering how something like this is achieved: where brushes are used to kind of define the shape of the final image. i've been told it's done with masks/layering, but i know...- msirae
