    That looks a whole lot better! What I meant is that it looks a bit unnatural looking from a cliff like that, in the middle of a big city onto a skyline which is this close. I hope this is understandable. =) In fact there would need to be a big ass hill to have that kind view on the new york...

    Looks amazing! I love the soft light. Only thing might be you went to far on the shoulder with the lighting but that might just be my personal opinion and that's really only a minor issue. How did you get her and the bark to look like they were painted? And can you show us the stock images?

    That's the best you can do! At the beginning, I was also very frustrated when stuff didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. The best thing you can do, is loads of tutorials with stuff you like. First of, it's fun and secondly you learn an immense load of techniques that will come naturally...

    you could also get something like this, put it in a new layer, above your own and try to delete the inner red field, with an eraser tool, a mask or by color selection. Refine the edges and your done.
