Thanks gauss I didn't realize just how versatile actions can be. To be honest i've found them to be a bit intimidating but it looks like i'm gonna have to get my feet wet sooner or later. I really appreciate you supplying me with an action to play with. :righton: :) Tim

Thanks Erik I'll try both methods and see which one I'm most comfortable with. :righton: Gaussian I'm not sure that an action would work as the photos in question are from the 50's and 60's and are of verying sizes, some scans contained 6 pics others 4 etc. It was a case of positioning as many...

Looks like I need some help finding out if Photoshop can perform a task that was available in Paint Shop Pro. I had scanned a lot of old family photos and rather than scan each picture by itself, I opted to group them and seperate them later in PSP. This was easily done by selecting, copying...

Eric: I don't feel I put anything on the this board for big brother to watch. My personal message simply tells this person to contact me directly for the help she needs. If this is a problem then I certainly do apologize for ruffling anyones feathers and will not make the mistake again. ;\ Tim

Poll What kind of internet connection do you use?

Mark I live in a community with 14 houses and a small Mom & Pop redimix plant. I can't even get sympatico high speed where I am, the phone lines border on being obsolete and cable isn't within miles of me. To the best of my knowledge satellite is my only hope but I can't bring myself to spend...

Poll What kind of internet connection do you use?

Well my modem vote is in. Gotta love the rurals here in beautiful downtown Canada. It doesn't matter if it's uphill, downhill, tailwind or not, I can't get over 26.4Kpbs. Wow to be rich so I could afford satellite , but alas I'm a pauper and must endure the suffering inflicted on us poor...

    Great place to start

I found the perfect place for me to get a beginners+ level of training on Photoshop. Since all of my learning was with PSP, I was finding it difficult to adjust too, and find things in photoshop. The free course offered here made it incredibly easy. A good starting place for newbies (like me)...
