    I tried some of the things I suggested. i just played with this image. I didn't put a lot of time into it, just wanted to see if some of the suggestions would work.

    HEY! I know what. How about try the 'neon' filter, then change the color mode to gray scale and tinker with the transparency and adjustment (bright/contrast) level. then leave the smoke?!

    Well... I'm new at this too, but, um...she looks like more of a neon sign than a ghost. I would probably try, the extract, erase and blur and smudge tools and just work it until her form was misty and/or smokey like.She has too much color...ghosts are more white. Maybe that transparency...

    ^^yeah!It's going to take about a week and a half to get it (PS). Macromedia said that they use to offer crossplatform switching, but they quit doing that. The company decided that if someone is going to switch, that they know they will need new software.[slick] Thanks for the idea...

    Hi, i'm a newbie! I am amatuer at best with graphics. I have been involved in Fine Arts all my life and finally just took the plunge with PS. Weesh! I need this board. Guess I will hang on the sidelines and hope to learn something :D
