    How to merge 2 skies?

    I have a picture I'll be using for the design of a cover. Since the shape of the picture isn't vertical I'll need to add a more sky from another picture.... How do I go about this? I have looked for tutorials but haven't found any explaining this.

    Shadow Under An Object - How to replicate this?

    Thanks GUYS!! Really Helpful :) I personally found starting of with a circle and drawing a gradient in there before reshaping had the most accurate result for me. The brush tip was nice as well. Thanks for all the replies!!!

    I'd like to create the exact shame shadow as you see right under the Smiley Face. I have tried it with the elliptical marquee tool + radial gradient as well as with multiple elliptical forms stacked on each other with different colors and playing with the layer style.... Any idea how I can...

    How to get this clean black-transparent effect?

    Ah... lol... that sucks... my vector background is yellow/white. That's what's causing the dirty grey effect.... it's not an image so I am not sure I can come even close to the desired effect... I'll play around a little more with it tomorrow and let you know what I've come up with.

    I would like to achieve the black-transparent effect that you can see in the picture below. It doesn't work with lowering opacity (you get a dirty greyish kind of look that's far from clean, black and transparent) or 2 separate layers with different properties like color or overlay, same result...
